Legionella Prevention and Control measures are just as important as the Legionella Risk Assessment and UKAS Accredited Legionella Testing. The Health & Safety Executives Approved Code of Practice for the Control of Legionella Bacteria (ACOP L8) gives guidance on effective control and prevention measures. Failure to establish, maintain and record the prevention and control measures undertaken can result in substantial fines and even prosecution.
Our Prevention & Control Service
We can arrange to visit you on a regular basis, usually monthly and carry out a range of prevention & control measures.
Once prevention and control measures have been established based on the recommendations made in the Legionella Risk Assessment our engineers will put in place a schedule of work. During prearranged appointments we will visit you and carry out the recommended prevention and control measures.
We will record the prevention and control measures undertaken highlighting any issues and submit a report to you.
We carry out these measures for as little as £30.00 per month.
